FSO Instruments develops laser communication equipment for satellites and mobile ground stations. Laser communication offers faster and safer communication than RF connections. Building on a close connection with TNO, FSO implements new technology in commercial products, making laser communication available for real world applications.

Public and private applications requiring laser satellite communication are being developed now and require working solutions in larger numbers. This drives the need for industrialization and higher volume manufacturing of components and assemblies for laser satellite communication
