In April 2027, TU Delft will host the COAT Workshop (Communications and Observations through Atmospheric Turbulence).
The workshop dives into how optical turbulence, aerosols and clouds affect optical systems, from free-space optical and quantum communications to astronomy and space situational awareness. Topics range from atmospheric modelling and measurements to adaptive optics and other mitigation techniques.
